Standard Hi-CAPA hop-up units use a side-dial and a pivoting arm, which can often apply uneven pressure, causing your BBs to curve left or right at long distances. The TDC system uses a vertical screw-down mechanism that applies pressure directly from the top, eliminating hop-drift and ensuring every shot follows the same path.
