The True Centering Unit (TCU) is designed specifically for the Maxx Model hop-up unit to improve consistency and accuracy.

Movement between the hop-up unit and outer barrel is commonly found in airsoft guns due to manufacturing tolerances. This play can cause a lack of consistency and predictability of the BBs trajectory.

When a magazine is inserted, it can push the hop-up unit and inner barrel off-centre. The problem can be exacerbated during firing by the motion of the BBs loading and vibrations from the gearbox which will cause inconsistencies in your shots.

If the hop up unit does not fit snugly into the outer barrel there will also be movement between these two parts which will further cause major inconsistencies to your BB trajectory.

The TCU is installed onto the hop-up chamber and locks it to the center line of the rifle. As a result the consistency and accuracy of the shots over longer distance will be vastly improved. As axial movement is eliminated after the TCU is installed, the tightness of the system will be improved, resulting in a more stable FPS output.

The TCU is injected moulded polycarbonate making it tough and lightweight.

Installation notes
There are some instances where the TCU is a little too tight to fit the outer barrel. We recommend removing the outer barrel from the gun to test fit first. If it is too tight, lightly sand each side of the TCU incrementally until you achieve a snug fit.
